About us
APM was born in 2015, and is a joint-venture between Forvia (Tier1) and Interval (Agricultural cooperative) that continued AFT Plasturgie activity created in 2001. Based on 2 decades of expertise, we are specialized in thermoplastics compounding with natural fibers like hemp. Based at Fontaine les Dijon, our target is to develop performing and sustainable solutions, adapted to environmental and technical requirements in different industrial sectors.
Compounds reinforced/associated with hemp fibers
Hemp fibers integration in compounds offer an alternative and sustainable solution in biomaterials sector. By asscoiating natural fibers with polymers like PP, these composite materials improve mechanical resistance and rigidity with a significant weight reduction. Their optimized properties, answering to Eco conception challenges. They are positioned as a key solution in order to create various applications in automotive, building or household appliances, illustrating the future of performing and ecological materials.
Recycled materials utilisation
At APM, we consider a future where sustainability and innovation are combined. We have developed NAFILean-R, the first innovative compound that associate natural fibers and recycled materials. This product represents a significant step in the direction of a more environmental respect. We commit to continue to improve and develop this technology for offering continuous performing and eco responsible solutions.
Hemp fiber
Hemp fiber is in the core of our sustainable journey. Thanks to the partnership with the agricultural cooperative Interval, we master the whole value chain of hemp, that comes exclusively from France, and mostly with Franche Comté area. This control guarantees an optimal quality and a local supply, in the full respect of our environmental values.
Mechanical reinforcement : hemp integration improve significantly the Young module, increasing rigidity and resistance of our composites.
Carbon footprint reduction : by substituting a part of polymers with a sustainable feedstock, we contribute to the diminution the environmental impact of our products.
Eco responsible approach : the usage a natural and bio sourced fiber contributes in a sustainability approach that support local agriculture. Therefore, hemp fiber is not only a technical component, but also the symbol of our commitment to innovation and sustainable development.
